Title
Asymptotically Justified Boundary Conditions for a Viscoelastic Two-Phase Fiber Model
Abstract
In this work we present asymptotically justified boundary/interface conditions for a viscoelastic two-phase fiber model with flow-enhanced crystallization. While the model equations are well-established in the literature, the choice of boundary conditions is still under discussion as they might cause artificial layering at the crystallization onset. We show that our conditions avoid such layering, yielding a regularly perturbed boundary value problem with either continuous or discontiunous interface.
