Title Supplement
Transport Flow Pipe - Berührungsloses Transportieren in geschlossener Schutzatmosphäre
Other Title
Handling of sensitive components - Transport Flow Pipe: A process for contact-free transport in a closed controlled atmosphere
Abstract

Today, the branches of biotechnology and medical technology face a rapid development. Constantly, new products make their way from the laboratory to the markets. Examples are microarrays or biosensors, new analytical methods (for instance for cell cultures) or processes such as functional coating. Due to their specific demands these specialized products call for new handling processes. The transport flow pipe method, developed at Fraunhofer IPA, meets this challenge.
