Title

Passive all-fiber transversal mode filter for high-power CW fiber laser applications

Abstract
It is shown that monolithic CW LMA-fiber lasers inherently operate in a transversally multimode regime. Accordingly, a novel all-fiber passive transversal mode filter to improve the performance of CW fiber lasers is proposed.
