Einsatz plasmatechnologischer Prozesse im Bereich der Lebensmittelverpackung

A packaging field plays a precursor role in the industry for development of environmentally efficient products and of processes with low hazard potential. For a further development in these areas, plasma processes will have a predominant effect, especially in plasma pretreatment and plasma enhanced coating processes for packaging media production and in plasma sterilization for the actual packing process. For future R&D in plasma technology, atmospheric pressure processes represent the most interesting new technology.
