PBK - Powered Bionic Knee System

A challenging and rapidly growing field of medical research is the field of P&O (Prosthetics and Orthotics). Advanced mechatronic systems in this field open new possibilities for end user comfort. New developments in the field of active powered devices are shown. The presented example is a prototype of an active powered knee.
