Simulations in powder technology at Fraunhofer IWM

During the last fifteen years, the Powder Technology Research Group of the IWM h as worked on the simulation of various processing steps in powder technology. The list of materials studied comprises engineering and functional ceramics, hardmetals, cermets, sintered steels, refractory metals, tableware and sanitaryware ceramics, and pharmaceuticals. Final goal is the simulation of the complete process chain to allow optimal optimization of the different processing steps.
