Performance Management diskontinuierlicher Innovation in separaten Innovationseinheiten produzierender Unternehmen

Etablierte, produzierende Unternehmen sind heute mehr denn je gezwungen, ihre Geschäftstätigkeit zu revolutionieren. Dazu setzen viele Organisationen auf Innovationspfade abseits des Kerngeschäfts, sogenannte Corporate Venture Units. Da sie in der Praxis gemischte Erfolge aufweisen, untersucht die vorliegende Arbeit anhand zweier empirischer Studien Erfolgsfaktoren ihrem Performance Management und überführt sie in ein Gestaltungsmodell, das sich aus Prozess- und Kontextfaktoren zusammensetzt.

Today more than ever, established manufacturing companies are being forced to revolutionize their business activities. To this end, many organizations rely on innovation paths outside of their core business, so-called corporate venture units. As they have had mixed success in practice, this thesis uses two empirical studies to examine the success factors of their performance management and translates them into a management model consisting of process and context factors.
