Title

3D-Morphing and its application to virtual reality

Abstract
3D-morphing is a powerful tool to either animate static VR scenarios (e.g. special effects or for artificial life scenarios) or to provide smooth transitions between different levels-of-detail of an object. When objects have multimodal attributes, e.g. in the visual or haptic domain, these attributes will also have to be considered for morphing in future.
