A multigrid approach for device simulation using locallinearization

Abstract
This paper describes a numerical technique used for 2D device simulation. It is demonstrated that the constructed nonlinear multigrid (MG) algorithm yields to a considerable speed-up whereas the method of local linearization reduces the memory required for the simulation to a minimum.
