Abstract
Data have a modifying effect on products as well as the associated areas of planning, development and production. This paper gives an overview of the status quo of of data used in these areas . Also, the potential and challenges are highlighted against the background of data-driven product planning, as well as deriving implications for production system development.

Ferner werden Potenziale und Herausforderungen vor dem Hintergrund der datengestützten Produktplanung beleuchtet und Implikationen für die Produktionssystementwicklung abgeleitet
