Title

Power and energy scaling of Tm-doped fiber lasers

Abstract
We present a high-power, in-band-pumped Thulium-doped fiber MOPA laser at 2 µm with high efficiency and high pulse energy extraction. Challenges include reducing quantum defect, managing thermal issues, and optimizing in-band pumping for efficient energy extraction.
