Synchrone Telekooperation im CAD-Umfeld auf der Basis von MPEG-4

Systeme für die synchrone Telekooperation im CAD-Umfeld verwenden eine Vielzahl proprietärer Protokolle zur Kommunikation. Der internationale Standard MPEG-4 ist in der Lage, interaktive zwei- und dreidimensionale Szenen zu kodieren. Durch die Verwendung einer standardisierten Kommunikation innerhalb einer konstruktiven Telekooperation können die Teilnehmer einer Konferenz austauschbare Frontends benutzen. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Methoden und Techniken, eine Kollaboration auf der Basis vom MPEG-4 im CAD-Umfeld zu ermöglichen. Es wird die Realisierbarkeit eines solchen Systems durch die Erstellung von Konzepten und Methoden überprüft. Weiterhin werden Details zu einer prototypischen Implementierung dieser Konzepte und Methoden beschrieben.

Systems for synchronous telecooperation use a variety of proprietary communication protocols. The international standard MPEG-4 has the ability to encode interactive two or three dimensional scenes. By using a standardized communication the participants of a constrictive conference can use exchangeable frontends. This diploma thesis tries to use MPEG-4 for communication in a collaborative CAD environment. The main goal is to proof the possibility of an MPEG-4 based collaborative CAD system. Methods and concepts for realizing such a system must be developed. Furthermore details of an implementation of the methods and concepts will be given.
