Integration von Fertigungssystemen für die Serienfertigung von Kleinst- und Mikrobauteilen

Im von der Europäischen Union geförderten Forschungsprojekt MASMICRO arbeiten 36 Partner aus 13 Ländern an der Großserienfertigung von Kleinst- und Mikrobauteilen. Bis zum Jahr 2008 entwickeln elf Forschungsinstitute, sechs Hochschulen und 17 klein- und mittelständische Unternehmen Fertigungs- und Bearbeitungstechnologien sowie Anlagen für die Massenproduktion von miniaturisierten Produkten. Mit dabei ist das Zentrum für Mikroproduktionstechnik (ZMPT) des Fraunhofer IPK. Aufgabe des ZMPT ist es, Fertigungstechnologien für die Herstellung von Ab- und Umformwerkzeugen für die Mikroproduktion zu entwickeln und prototypisch einzusetzen.

The research project MASMICRO is carried out by 36 partners from thirteen different countries who are working on realizing the mass production of miniature and micro components. MASMICRO receives financial support from the European Union. Eleven research institutes, six universities, and 17 small and medium-sized businesses are collectively engaged in developing manufacturing and machining technologies as well as installations for mass production of miniaturized products until 2008. One of the project partners is the Centre for Micro Production Engineering of the Fraunhofer IPK. Our experts' contribution to the project is the development of manufacturing technologies for forming tools applicable in micro production, and their prototypical utilisation.
