Intelligent Sensor Systems for the Control of Active Prostheses

Development of active systems in the field of prostheses and orthotics is currently one of the main topics in medical research. In this session, the development of Intelligent Sensor Systems for powered prosthetic and orthotic devices is presented. To derivate gait phases and environment information is the main challenge in the field of intelligent sensor systems.
