Title

Development and optimization of a rotating phased array inspection system

Abstract
This contribution describes the approach pursued in the development of a miniaturized phased array system. Aiming at the detection of corrosion damage at the inner and outer surface, an array transducer has first been optimized for immersion inspection of pipes with high radial and axial resolution. In a second step, system components have been designed and developed on the basis of highly integrated electronic components.
