Title
IQUATE. Modeling the causes and impacts of information quality
Abstract
Information quality is a vital asset to organizations. Yet, no modeling technique exists that allows the structured analysis of causes of low information quality and its impacts on the organization's performance. This research aims at filling this gap by providing the parsimonious modeling technique IQUATE for the causes and impacts of low information quality. To bridge the gap between social and technical perspectives on information quality we based IQUATE on the Work System method. We show IQUATE's feasibility in the analysis of a real world scenario. In this we follow the design science approach.
