Optimieren von Klebsystemen für die integrierte Optik

Optimizing adhesive systems for integrated optics. It is common industrial practice to use adhesives for attaching glass-fibre waveguides to components of fibre- and integrated-optics sensors. Quality assurance in the production of these sensors is, however, still problematic because adhesive systems and processes are not yet fully matured. This article describes an approach to optimize adhesive systems with respect to thermal and mechanical strength. Four different adhesive systems have been tested mechanically, chemically and optically.
