Title

Galileo open service navigation message authentication: Exploitation in the frame of an E-security infrastructure

Abstract
This paper describes how the Galileo Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) is exploited in the frame of the e-security infrastructure developed by the GalileO-based trustEd Applications for health and SustainabilitY (GOEASY) project. The GOEASY general objective is the provision of the technical and business foundations to enable a new generation of trusted and dependable mass-market Location-Based Services (LBS) and Applications for engaging, stimulating and rewarding citizens for more sustainable behaviors. The first three chapters of the paper describe the GOEASY platform and provides an overview of the two pilot applications that have been developed in the frame of the project to support the demonstration phase. The last chapters of the paper deal with the implementation and the performance evaluation of the authentication algorithm.
