Title

D8.13 - Updated Communication and Dissemination Strategy

Abstract
This deliverable D8.13 updates the overall Communication and Dissemination Strategy to communicate the RiskPACC activities and to disseminate the project’s outcomes and results. This updated strategy capitalises on previous deliverables, namely the D8.1 (the original Communication & Dissemination Strategy) and D8.2 (Midterm Project Dissemination Impact Assessment Report). Updating the Communication and Dissemination Strategy is particularly relevant as the project is approaching the end of its second dissemination phase (M18 - M30).
The document defines new guidelines and activities that were and will be carried out in the context of the project. It does not drastically change the original strategy outlined in D8.1, but includes some changes to better reflect actions taken since D8.1, such as an enhanced collaboration with related projects. The objectives of the strategy remain the same:
• Present a detailed and effective communication strategy, the related objectives, tools and activities.
• Explain all aspects and steps of the RiskPACC dissemination strategy, the tools, activities, events and processes.
• Provide and sustain a stakeholders’ engagement strategy overview and highlight the related objectives, target audiences, techniques and levels.
• Provide different levels of key messages and actions and the related objectives.
• A description of a set of Communication and Dissemination measures to respect.
The deliverable first considers the stakeholders engagement process, presenting the engagement objectives, techniques, and channels (section 2). The engagement is a complex process, as it takes place at different levels, with different stakeholders and through different techniques. A detailed definition of key messages (described in section 3) will help the process. Section 4 and 5 are focused on the actual Communication and Dissemination strategies, presenting the online and offline means and the tools already implemented.
This document also serves as a reference framework for evaluating the impact of communication and dissemination activities carried out until the end of the project and will be updated, especially in the context of the Final Communication and Dissemination Impact Assessment (D8.3, due to M33). Therefore, section 6 presents the monitoring tools and mechanisms that have been set-up to measure the impact of the Dissemination and Communication activities carried out.
