Object-oriented software development. Experiences and trends

This report discusses the pros and cons of the object-oriented paradigm based on experience gathered in projects at the Fraunhofer ISST. Based on observations of ongoing work in development and research future trends in object-orientation are outlined. Focus is on analysis and design methods, programming languages, and tools to support them.
