Title

Angle-Resolved THz Channel Measurements at 300 GHz in a Shopping Mall Scenario

Abstract
This paper presents first results of channel measurements conducted at 300GHz in a shopping mall scenario. For understanding the radio channel's behaviour in such scenarios within the sub-THz and THz domain, a measurement campaign in the atrium of a large company building was carried out. Angle-resolved channel impulse responses were analysed with regards to channel parameters such as delay and angular spread. A novelty of this work is the analysis of mentioned parameters with regards to synthetic beamwidth of the receiver and various signal-tonoise ratio (SNR) conditions. The analysis shows that with a decreasing receiver (RX) antenna directivity and an increasing SNR the number of multipath components increases rapidly.
