New UV-curing OLED encapsulation adhesive with low water permeation

The results of a research program for the development of an UV curing epoxy adhesive for the sealing frame of OLED displays with a preferably low water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) will be presented. The material was analyzed in substantial lifetime investigations both in calcium mirror tests and in PLED devices under different climatic environments and its capability was verified.
