Title

Fast and intuitive robot programming for mandrel guiding of braiding machines for textile preforming

Abstract
Manufacturing of textile preforms with braiding machines often includes an industrial robot for guiding the mandrel through the machine. Programming the robot to follow the complex path is a time consuming task. To reduce programming time the intuitive programminmg environment InTeach has been developed. The robot can be guided by pushing and pulling, the path can be recorded, adopted and replayed. Setup and first experiments are described.
