Title

The ICS Model: Simultaneous Support to Stand-alone and Cooperative Work

Abstract
This paper presents a novel model to shape objects with dynamic attributes and values. This model is the base for a new software architecture for managing object systems based on conversations. The objects can be located in the personal PC or can be distributed. The different instantiations of the model allows a gradual transition between stand-alone and cooperative use, achieving this way a transparent access to distributed resources.
