Title

Mikroprozessorgesteuerter Stellungsregler an pneumatischen Stellventilen

Abstract
A positioner for use with pneumatic driven control valves was developed. The positoner is controlled by a microcontroller and has wide range of special functions such as range splitting, free carcteristic curve, programmable point of full close/opening, operating range bounding, velocity bounding, inverse operation. However, there is no need of additional power supply. All the power to operate the controller and the pneumatic valves comes out of the set-point current loop. Due to this feature the positioner is able to replace older electromechanical ones directly. The functions are programmable via serial interface by PC or handheld terminal. Further development: fuzzy-control-kernel, HART-Protocol-interface.
