Abstract
There are many different processing technologies for Aluminum available. Therefore, cutting methods such as sawing, laser, plasma or abrasive waterjet cutting and different joining methods such as adhesive bonding, welding or joining with the help of fasteners are in the focus of this presentation and are analyzed with regard to their advantages and disadvantages. The presentation furthermore provides examples that shall illustrate the applicability of these methods.
