Title

Physical-layer aware routing, modulation level and resource allocation of SDM networks over FM-MCFs

Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel physical-layer aware routing, modulation, spatial and spectral resource allocation scheme for few-mode multi-core fibres (FM-MCFs) relying on an analytical formula for calculating OSNR. Additionally, we compare different flavours of the proposed algorithm in terms of their network-wide performance.
