Transfer of S&T Policy Know-How: Experiences from Slovene-German Cooperation

This paper focuses on S&T policy as an area of strong relevance for long-term economic growth and explores the opportunities and challenges associated with international co-operation in this field. A specific approach, developed by FhG-ISI and applied within the German-Slovene co-operation project in S&T policy as a pilot project for other Central and Eastern countries, is presented. As the paper aims at conveying on scientific findings but on the process of scientific advising, transfer of knowledge and consensus building.
