PVC-Folien in der Verpackung

Environmental aspects for production and disposal, functionality aspects for packaging films and examples of application are described. For many of the applications for PVC films used in the past, alternative materials have been found in the meantime. A "hard core" of applications, in which PVC has proved very successful, will remain. Careful weighing up is necessary before possible further substitutions, particularly with respect to the functionality of the packages.
