Mapping of whispering-gallery-modes in coupled disk microresonators

Abstract
Optical field distributions of eigenstates in coupled microdisks are measured by a special scattering SNOM technique correlating induced perturbations in the reflection/transmission signals of the exciting tapered fiber with the SNOM-tip position above the disks.
