Title

Plenoptic camera with adaptable dephth of field using PZT thick film actuators

Abstract
Plenoptic cameras are a future trend in photography. The focal plane of a recorded image can be changed after the exposure is taken. However, plenoptic cameras still have a limited depth of field (DOF). A tunable lensposition would extend this DOF. Piezoceramic thick film actuators are particularly suitable. To fulfil the requirements the actuator performance needs to be increased. From experiments, we derived processrecommendations and designed an actuator frame for a plenoptic camera.
