Title

Work in Progress: Do Students Benefit from Using VR as a Tool in Engineering Exercises?

Abstract
Current engineering students have to be prepared for their future work environment including the possible use of Virtual Reality (VR) in product development processes. The introduction of VR-support in engineering exercises at a university is accompanied by the question of how the use of the technology helps students with their engineering projects. Comparing student groups working on the same exercises with and without the help of VR leads to results, as presented in this paper, to further improve the teaching concept in future semesters.
