Polymeralterung durch Luftschadstoffe

To investigate the damage caused by air pollutants on polymer products we exposed polyvinylchloride, polyurethane, polyester and alkyd resin based polymer samples to NOsubx, S0sub2 and Osub3 in special chambers. To obtain measurable results within a reasonable time period pollutant con- by mechanical, morphological and chemical analysis on periodically removed samples. The preliminary resuits are discussed.
