Title

Optical switching of clockwise/anti-clockwise lasing in bus coupled microrings

Abstract
Clockwise/anti-clockwise switching of InP based bus-coupled microring lasers induced by external light injection has been measured and simulated. Device design and injection parameters of bistability and preselected unidirectional operation are discussed.
