Berechnung der Reflexion von Stoßwellen mit Hilfe der Methode der Finiten Elemente

The reflection of shock waves will be examined by means of the Finite Element Method for different shock Mach numbers. The results will be compared with the exact formula obtained by the Rankine-Hugoniot theory. As a second type of reflection the behaviour at open boundaries will be tested. All results will also be derived by a Finite Difference Scheme.
