La representation de situations et leur reconnaissance a partir de sequences d'images

Image sequences allow to capture not only the shape, surface appearance, position, and orientation of depicted bodies, but in addition the temporal change of these attributes. This will form the starting point to link observed temporal changes to potential intentions of agents acting in the depicted scene. As a consequence of such considerations, the notion of "situation" will be studied as a fundamental concept which relates plans to actions observable by the evaluation of image sequences.
