Impulsprogramm. Vorschlag zur Intensivierung der Fortbildung über rationelle Energienutzung in Nordrhein-Westfalen

There is a great need for bridging the gap between new technological developments and the building practice. This should be done by a government-financed training programme. The "impulse programme" should include collection and evaluation of available knowledge on energy conservation in buildings, compilation of handbooks and training courses of all groups involved in planning, construction and retrofitting of buildings. The study recommands an organizational structure for carrying out the programme which has been proofed successfully in Swizerland. The seminars will be offered by traditional training institutions. The impulse programme will start in Nordrhein-Westfalen with the first topic "Energy conservation in buildings" in 1993 and follwed by the topics "Efficient electricity use" and "Renewable energy sources".
