Aspekte der endkundengerechten Gestaltung von Benutzungsoberflächen für Präsentations- und Verkaufssysteme mit 3D-Techniken

Electronic Commerce is becoming a widely accepted way of doing business today. To serve customers best, highly comfortable user interfaces are needed in this application area. 3D computer graphics has proven to be a very effective technology for this purpose. This paper discusses basic aspects for the design of 3D user interfaces. A classification scheme for 3D presentations is briefly described. Several metaphors and realization techniques that are applicable here are presented. Finally, the UI-related features of two systems that were developed at ZGDV are described.
