Abstract
In contrast to metallic materials fibre-reinforced plastic laminates can react upon compressive loading much more critical than tensile loading. Hence, laboratory tests are compression-dominated in many investigations requiring the application of anti-buckling guides to flat specimens which can influence the test results. Therefore, the design must be adapted to the individual case. This report shows two examples of it.
