Case study: Microbial contamination of indoor air in a kindergarten due to a special construction type with a crawl space open to subsoil

A kindergarten located in an especially constructed building was subject to microbiological investigations. A crawl space open to subsoil and hollow pillars, forming an air connection from the crawl space to the rooms used above, was suspected of causing microbial air contamination and affecting the health of the children.
