Farbstoffe helfen Oberflächen charakterisieren

The analysis of functional groups on polymer surfaces is shown. Analysis is done by the reaction with selectively reactive dyes. Surfaces are modified by plasma treatment in Oxygen, carbon dioxide and ammonia. The detected groups are of basic and acidic character. It is shown, that the method is applicable for quality management.
