Title

Trematodon ambiguus (Hedw.) Hornsch. (Musci: Bruchiaceae) reported from Northern Tyrol, Austria: Spore germination and protonemal development

Abstract
The moss Trematodon ambiguus was discovered in 2001 on a wet mountain slope above Sölden, Northern Tyrol. Distribution (local and remote), propagation and ecology are shortly discussed. Experiences with culture of spores that were stored under herbarium conditions for prolonged time and the development of special resting cells in protonemata are presented.
