Designing order management for supply networks with the turbulence pattern - a qualitative approach

Turbulent markets are changing the requirements for planning and scheduling the operation of manufacturing enterprises. This paper describes a method to characterize turbulences and to identify their root causes, as well as provides the relevant requirements towards order management. A turbulence pattern facilitates the OM design in line with key market and production conditions.
