Characterization of FWM-induced crosstalk for WDM operation of a fiber-optical parametric amplifier

We show by simulations and experiments that WDM-interchannel crosstalk in fiber-optical parametric amplifiers can be characterized by an effective noise figure. This depends only on the ratio of pump power to total WDM-bands output power.
