Hydraulische Überlastsicherung mit pyrotechnischer Betätigung

The use of hydraulic overload safety devices in mechanical presses to protect the machines from excess force protect loads is in line with current technical practice. This was the starting point for the conception of a new type of hydraulic overload safety device with electrical signal circuit and pyrotechnical actuation with which mechanical presses would be reliably protected from overloads up to 300 strokes per minute. The subassemblies of the overload device and their special features are described. The article concludes with a presentation of the results of the test evaluation in a press.
