Title

CASUS. An object-oriented three-dimensional animation system for event-oriented simulators

Abstract
This paper describes an object-oriented approach to link a three-dimensional visualisation to an event-oriented simulator. The goal is a visualisation, which looks extremely realistic and is therfore well equipped for customer-oriented presentation. This is achieved by using computer generated three-dimensional animation. In realising this approach, we suggest a modular concept, which allows, besides offering an easily establishable link to a variety of simulators, an automation of the to be created an imation to the greatest possible extent. The animaton system CASUS with ist graphical user interface and the underlying concepts will be discussed in large, as well as the necessary communication tools.
