A survey of UWB technology within RFID systems and wireless sensor networks

This document presents a survey of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. Approaches for the usage of UWB within radio frequency identification (RFID) systems and wireless sensor networks (WSN) will be introduced. Regulations, characteristics of UWB systems, ideas for pulse generation and pulse detection are considered. This paper will serve as a foundation for future applications in the field of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT).
