Functional metal ceramic composites: Application of coating technologies for the composite production

Multi-layered ceramic and metal-ceramic composites are becoming more and more important in different application areas as they provide the opportunity to combine different functional properties. The paper shows first results of the composite production by means of coating technologies. Furthermore the different requirements of powder technology regarding coating color/suspension and the produced green tapes compared to coating layers will be shown.
