Abstract
The paper describes a technical architecture which enables companies to easily implement simulation technologies into their business processes. To verify the operational readiness of the architecture simulation based planning methods for supply chain planning and execution are developed and implemented as prototype service modules. These service modules can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of different companies and therefore used in different planning tasks. The results are based on the research projects Supply Chain Planning (SCP) and Supply Chain Execution (SCE) which are part of the EffizienzCluster LogistikRuhr.
