Reference model of Industrie 4.0 service architectures: Basic concepts and approach

Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die konzeptionellen Arbeiten des VDI/VDE GMA Fachausschuss 7.21 auf dem Weg zur Spezifikation eines Referenzmodells für Industrie 4.0 Service-Architekturen. Im Mittelpunkt steht der konzeptionelle Ansatz einer serviceorientierten Architektur auf der Basis der ""I40-Komponente"" als grundlegendes Konzept im gesamten Wertschöpfungsnetzwerk. Zudem wird die Relevanz von Referenzmodellen aus dem Internet der Dinge und Dienste diskutiert.

This paper provides an overview about the conceptual work performed by the VDI/VDE GMA working group 7.21 towards the specification of a reference model for Industrie 4.0 service architectures. It focuses on the conceptual design of service-oriented architecture (SOA) relying upon the ""I40 component"" as a core basic concept across the whole value network. Furthermore, the paper discusses the relevance of reference models of the Internet of Things and Services as a foundation.
